Recommended Bait: Worms/Power Bait

Hook Size: Size 8 recommended
Best Rig: 2 to 4 feet of line

It's that time of year again when the water temperatures are dropping. The lake was stocked on September 5th. and the trout are beginning to take all kinds of bait. Most fish taken so far are in the 10 to 14 inch range and limits are taken daily.

Our next stocking date is October 18th. At this time we are putting in 1000 pounds of trout which is about 1800 fish. This will bring our total fish count to around 8200 fish since February. Our goal this year is to stock close to 12000 fish by December.

One thing we ask is that you release any fish you do not plan to consume or any fish under 10 inches in length.

Please keep our water system clean by picking up and disposing of your trash in the receptacles placed by the lake.
