Christmas Tree Cutting!

Come join us for a fun-filled trip into the woods to cut your very own Christmas tree. This year’s tree cuttings are scheduled for Saturday, December 2nd and 9th. Two night stays are available for these weekends.

We caravan to the forest and everyone searches for the ideal tree. We obtain the necessary permits (the charge is a mere $10.00 based on last year’s rate) and we provide lunch after you have secured that perfect tree to your car. Lunch features chili, hot dogs, coffee and hot chocolate (complete with marshmallows).

Many of our guests have been coming to Lake of the Woods for years for this special experience and have made this a real family tradition. As new owners we are only in our second tree-cutting season, but we know there have been years when there has been snow on the ground. Regardless of the weather (please prepare to dress warmly), everyone has a great time and we would love to share this experience with you. Perhaps it will be the start of your family tradition!
